Are you an old school metal fan but hate current heavy metal today? Are you the other way around? In this day and age, there are so many heavy bands out there that it is hard to distinct your sound and consider your band the next best thing. However, there are not too many bands currently that pull off a solid fusion of thrash metal and metallic hardcore. What FROST KOFFIN delivers as a band will get your approval instantaneously, and their brand new single "Blistered" is a prime example of what will be the next best thing for crossover hardcore.

Bringing metallic riffs that resemble the early days of Metallica and Slayer, while keeping the current heaviness that resemble bands such as Havok and Blistered, FROST KOFFIN (Dallas, TX) came out swinging with their debut EP "Danger and Deliverance". If you haven't heard it yet, I suggest you give that record 20 minutes of your time. But as of right now, this brand new single packs that mean punch that should have no problem in making you a fan.

What stands out in this bands music, and most heavy hardcore bands, are the bands unique yet visceral vocal power that vocalist Grayson Altom delivers. If you listen to bands like Corrosion of Conformity, Prong, and Pantera, then you should have no problem getting acquainted with not only the vocals but the rest of the bands music. On top of that, guitarist Jayson Braffett brings out the humongous riffs that you may recognize from his former band 2x4.

"Blistered" can be streamed below, and make sure to follow FROST KOFFIN on Facebook, as well as Instagram and Twitter.

FFO: Pantera, Metallica, Havok
